That’s the concept behind BTA. BTA has a long history of speaking out, and standing up, for the things we believe in. The things can be different if we have the courage to change them. We think an artist’s job, a coach’s job, is to tell their truth from their own perspective. This work is integral to our art, because it’s a big part of how we think about the world. We hope people are motivated to do their part to make the basketball world better. Some coaches aim to present players as static and passive objects, obedient to their command, if you make a mistake you leave the court, creating just empty soul. BTA offers life and soul, presents a vision that has always been informed by exuberant athletes and fairy-tales that can come true. We never use guys as improbable coat hangers for impossible clothes. We take clothes and create situations where weird and wonderful things do happen. Let’s find the amazing in something that’s simple and human and real … the freedom to be who are we are. That’s the choice; we’re allowed to have choice.

Nudo mentre sei completamente vestito. Questo è il concetto alla base di BTA. Abbiamo una lunga storia nel parlare e difendere le cose in cui crediamo. Le cose possono essere diverse se abbiamo il coraggio di cambiarle. Pensiamo che il lavoro di un artista, quello di un allenatore, sia quello di dire la propria verità dalla propria prospettiva. Questo lavoro è parte integrante della nostra arte, perché è una grande parte di come pensiamo e vediamo il mondo. Speriamo che le persone siano motivate a portare il loro contributo per migliorare il mondo del basket. Molti allenatori tendono a presentare i giocatori come oggetti statici e passivi, obbedienti al loro comando, se sbagli esci dal campo, creando solo anime vuote. BTA offre vita e anima, presenta una visione fatta da atleti esuberanti e fiabe che possono diventare realtà. Non usiamo i ragazzi come appendiabiti improbabili per vestiti impossibili. Prendiamo vestiti e creiamo situazioni in cui accadono cose strane e meravigliose. Troviamo lo straordinario in qualcosa di semplice, umano e reale … la libertà di essere quello che sei. Questa è la scelta, e noi abbiamo il permesso di scegliere.
